13 Amazon Prime Day Deals To Support Your Self-Care and Wellness Routines
I’m a big believer that building a self-care routine that makes sense for your life is way more important than buying one-off items that are on trend or only have a one-time use. For instance, I find that having a humidifier in your home that makes it easier for you to breathe can actually help your quality of life exponentially. It may not be the sexiest product, but in a time when we’re spending most of our days indoors and especially as we get closer to the drier, colder months, added items like a humidifier can be the difference-makers between a good day and a dreadful one.
I spent some time on Amazon searching for Prime Day deals that would add more to your days than just the adrenaline rush of buying something new (although, I admit there were a few items that did just that for me).
My goal when compiling this list rested on a few factors — price, long-term use potential, and where and how it could incorporate into your existing self-care routine or help you start a new one.
Stasher Bags- $8.35
For me, eating in a healthy and intentional way comes down to having the right snacks prepped and easily accessible. Stasher bags are the perfect solution and the fact that they are easily reusable is a huge huge plus.
Water Bottle With Tracker- $8.53
Drinking water is one of the easier habits you can build that can impact everything from your energy level to your skin. Drinking water though is also one of the hardest habits to build. I’ve found that it’s easier when you can gamify the process a bit. Having a water bottle that helps you goal set may instinctually push you to drink more water.
Metal Reusable Straws- $7.19
I’m motivated by aesthetics, just in case that hasn’t been clear yet and being able to create an experience out of smoothie or juice time makes it feel like less of an obligation. The metal straws are also a friendly alternative to picking up another plastic straw at the smoothie place.
Blue Light Blocking Glasses- $16.99
I pulled a couple of options of blue light glasses here and here because if there’s one thing you should invest in for your mood and mental health it should be these. We spend so much time looking at the screen and if you’re anything like me, the trickle effect of a bad headache can trigger so many more feelings. This is a small way to stop the hard before it starts.
Adult Coloring Book
I’ve been using an adult coloring book on my iPad and it’s been one of the most cathartic exercises. If your preference is pen and paper, this is a good time to buy an adult coloring book to cuddle up under a blanket with.
HOMESICK CANDLES
You can never go wrong stocking up on Homesick candles. These are 20% off at checkout.
Artificial Plants- $10.99
Just because you may not have a green thumb, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t benefit from seeing green and plants around you. Artificial plants are a good alternative (and mood booster) especially as we inch towards winter months.
Weighted Blanket- $39.15
I could not speak more highly about the impact a weighted blanket has had on calming my anxiety during my most anxious moments. If you’ve been on the fence about getting one, I highly recommend.
Essential Oils- $12.59
Essential oils have become a big part of our setting the vibes routine. We have a diffuser from Muji, but order these essential oils on Amazon often because they’re more price friendly.
Humidifier - $37.99
Like I mentioned up above, a humidifier can be a game changer. My anxiety is triggered at times by my allergies (I know, unique), so getting a humidifier made it where I had one less trigger to worry about.
Laptop Stand - $!5.99
This laptop stand goes hand in hand with a few other products I’m suggesting - essentially I think Prime Day is a good time to prep your workspace for what will be your work from home setup for the next few months.
Light Therapy Lamp - $30.39
I’ve never tried a light therapy lamp before, but I know others who have and loved it. The benefits of having more light (and more green!) around you can also be a subtle reminder that even on the darkest days there’s something to hold onto.
White Noise Machine - $26.99
My therapist had a white noise machine in her office every time I went in for session. I got so used to having the noise during sessions that when we started at-home therapy sessions, I would play a youtube video on loop of white noise. I’d never considered actually getting a noise machine, but it’s worth the investment both for therapy or if you have an anxious puppy like we do.
I hope you find these useful. If I missed any really good gets, drop a link down below!
